Another Brant nabbed by cops

-

HARRY Brant, the flamboyant 20-year-old son of billionaire art collector Peter Brant and model Stephanie Seymour, was arrested in Greenwich, Conn., last week after fleeing a taxi without paying and carrying a baggie full of “a white substance that later tested positive for narcotics.”

Wealthy scion Harry, who is a regular on the party and fashion circuits and has a new line with makeup brand MAC, allegedly bailed on a measly $27.85 taxi fare and ran off. When cops caught him, he was “sweating profusely and pale,” according to the police report. He then lied about taking the taxi before finally ’fessing up that he didn’t have the money to pay.

But Harry wasn’t going down easily. According to the police, he yelled, “No! No!” when asked to put his hands behind his back to be handcuffed and tried to run from the cops.

“Officers were able to grab ahold of Brant and take him to the ground,” reads the police report. “Brant continued to resist officers’ attempts to place him under arrest by tensing his muscles while swinging his arms and kicking his legs. Officers were finally able to place him in handcuffs.” Harry also refused to give his name, but the young heir was recognized by an officer.

When he was searched, police found his stash of narcotics. Harry has been charged with larceny in the sixth degree, drug possession and resisting arrest.

Harry’s older brother Peter Jr. also recently had a run-in with the law. In March, he was arrested for causing a “drunken ruckus” and assaulting a cop at John F. Kennedy International Airport. He was treated at the time at Jamaica Hospital for severe intoxication. In 2014, he was ticketed for possession of marijuana.

In April, mom Seymour committed to regular Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and a stint in a state alcohol-treatment program after being arrested for a DUI in January. In 2000, she had been treated at a Connecticut rehab clinic for a Vicodin addiction.

Harry will appear in court on Thursday. His attorney, Philip Russell, declined to comment.
