Oh, now he’s the lord of the ring!
Anthony Weiner appeared to be in denial Tuesday as he was still wearing his wedding ring — though he later admitted to The Post that he suffered from an “alarming lack of self-awareness.”
Despite getting publicly dumped a day earlier by wife Huma Abedin (inset), Weiner sported the gold band on his left ring finger when he emerged from his Manhattan apartment around 6 a.m.
Weiner successfully evaded a clutch of cameramen camped outside his Union Square building, but was spotted by The Post as he headed to a Ford SUV parked nearby on Irving Place.
The disgraced ex-pol was chatting on a cellphone as he hopped into the vehicle, but was hemmed in by a garbage truck. He hung up and stewed before he was able to drive off.
Weiner ignored questions at the time, but later exchanged several e-mails with a Post reporter who urged him to drop his hard-edged political persona and open up to the public — like he did with his latest sexting partner.
He called that request “kinda hilarious,” adding, “I’ll pass it along to my wife and mother in law, too. They need a laugh.”
In another e-mail, Weiner told the reporter that “you share a problem that I have. A alarming lack of self awareness.
“There are many outlets for me to be the real me. Whatever that means,” he added.
Sources have said Weiner was with Abedin and their son in the Hamptons on Sunday when he confessed to his latest online fling after The Post told him it was about to reveal he had sent the woman a lewd crotch shot that also showed his son lying next to him.
He returned to Manhattan alone on Monday, while Abedin kept the kid with her, sources said.
