A famed Upper West Side dance company was soaked by a massive water-main break this week — the third time it has been cursed by a flood in recent years, a company rep said Tuesday.

Ballet Hispanico, which is featured in a new Lincoln Center dance-movie series, was nailed with six feet of water after a pipe burst at its West 89th Street facility Monday night, said artistic director Eduardo Vilaro, 50.

“There is something about the water. I can’t believe this is happening again,” lamented Vilaro, who estimated the damage to Hispanico’s costumes and equipment at half a million dollars.

Branches of the company in New Jersey and New Orleans have also been slammed by water, he said.

“When [Hurricane] Sandy hit, our storage facility in New Jersey was hit badly. We lost all our costumes there, 45 years of exclusive costumes lost,” he said.

And the New Orleans branch of the company, which teaches about 600 students a year, also was forced to close classes for a week after Hurricane Katrina struck in August 2005, he said.
