METS: Colon has benefited from solid run support lately, with the Mets scoring 24 runs in his past three starts, during which the righty has gone 2-1. In his last start against Miami on June 4, Colon picked up a no-decision after allowing two runs (one earned) and five hits over five innings. MARLINS: Phelps, the former Yankee, moved into the rotation at the start of the month because of injuries to Miami’s starters. In five starts he has thrown six innings just once, but the Marlins are 4-1 and Phelps has a 2.22 ERA with 32 strikeouts in just 24 ¹/ 3 innings.
