LT’s bloodshot ‘DWI’ mug shot
Here’s ex-Giant Lawrence Taylor’s DWI-arrest mug shot, showing the Hall of Fame linebacker with a stubbly chin and bloodshot eyes after getting pulled over in Palm Beach for allegedly driving a Bentley into a motor home and sideswiping a parked Florida Highway Patrol car.
When the trooper asked if he’d had anything to drink, Taylor, 57, answered, “Apparently too much,” according to an arrest report released Saturday morning.
Taylor was trying to get on the Florida Turnpike on Friday when he hit a motor home that was also turning onto the highway, cops said.
As Taylor veered right to avoid the motor home, he sideswiped the patrol car, which was parked on the highway’s right shoulder, cops said.
It’s hardly Taylor’s first mug shot.
He fell asleep at the wheel in New Jersey on the Garden State Parkway in 1989, failing a Breathalyzer test but beating the resulting DWI charges two months later.
Subsequent arrests were for misdemeanor property damage in Honolulu, attempting to buy crack cocaine in Florida and South Carolina, falsifying his 1990 income-tax returns and failing to pay child support. In 2009, he was arrested in for patronizing a 16-yearold prostitute in a Ramapo, NJ, hotel, ultimately receiving a no-jail sentence after insisting he had no idea of her age. “I don’t card prostitutes,” he later said.
