Bronx girl-turned-TCM host re-creates fave film roles

AS Hollywood gears up for another autumnal crop of Oscar contenders, movie buff Tiffany Vazquez is thinking about films from the 1930s to ’60s. “I’m still so surprised when I find something hilarious in a movie made in 1934 — me, coming from a . . . completely different place in every way from the people who made it,” Vazquez, the recently anointed Saturday daytime host for

‘GILDA’

“Gilda” is one of those movies that Vazquez has to watch whenever it’s on TV.

“[Rita Hayworth as Gilda] is one of the most iconic femme fatales. She’s so alluring, I dare anyone to watch the ‘Put the Blame on Mame’ number and look away from her for one second. It’s pretty much impossible.

“And you wouldn’t have had the Jessica Rabbit number in ‘ Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ without this character!” Halston Heritage gown, $225 at Halston.com; “Keleigh” sandals, $110 at SteveMadden.com; Crislu tennis necklace, $325 at Bloomingdale’s, 1000 Third Ave.; Gloves, $45 at Carolina Amato.com Turner Classic Movies, tells The Post.

Vazquez, 30, grew up in Queens and fell for old Hollywood when she got sucked into a Katharine Hepburn marathon on TCM. In 2014,014, she won the network’s “Ultimate Fan” contest. Now, every three months, she takes a break from her West Village day job as an editor at tech company Giphy to shoot movie introductions in Atlanta, where TCM is based.

To celebrate her new gig, the Bronx resident re-created the iconic looks of three of her favorite old-movie characters. ANITA IN ‘WEST SIDE STORY’: Vazquez’s Puerto Rican family didn’t watch many classic films when she was a kid, but “West Side Story” was the one everyone had seen. “[Rita Moreno] was the only example of a Puerto Rican in film that I had for a long time. Anita is incredibly strong — she’s way more interesting than the [Natalie Wood] character of Maria.” Halston Heritage dress, $225 at Halston.com; “Gretta” tulle skirt, $178 at AlexandraGrecco.com; “Libby” pumps, $675 at BrianAtwood.com; Noir Jewelry earrings, $56 at Shopbop.com FRANCES STEVENS IN ‘TO CATCH A THIEF’:

“I love the movie because it’s Grace [Kelly] at the height of being Grace — it’s the last movie she did before having to retire and becoming actual royalty,” Vazquez says.

“The looks are very iconic, so classy. She adds a lot to the beauty and sensuality of Hitchcock’s movies.” Dress, $260 at Donna-Morgan.com; “Ekelly” clutch, $95 at DuneLondon.com; Pearl studs, $48 at HenriBendel.com. Suit on male model, $1,100, Shirt, $195, Bow tie, $75, all at ThomasPink.com; Brookside dress shoes, $100 at Florsheim.com
