$1.2M fix for Bubba & Hill
Bill and Hillary Clinton spent $1,284,347 on renovations to their two homes in Chappaqua and Washington, DC, according to building permits.
News of the renovations comes less than a week after The Post exclusively reported the Clintons had purchased the house next door to their Chappaqua mansion for $1.16 million.
They bought their original Chappaqua home in 1999 for $1.7 million. They spent $376,000 in renovations at the five-bedroom Westchester home, bought so Hillary would have a New York residence when she ran for Senate in 2000.
The Clintons have spent about $908,347 at their Washington home, which they bought in 2000 for $2.85 million.
The building permits were obtained from open records by the Republican National Committee.
