AFTER a series of rooms at the Friars Club were renamed after illustrious members — including the “Barbra Streisand Room,” “Billy Crystal Bar” and “Frank Sinatra Dining Room” — “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star and longtime Friar Richard Lewis complained his name graces none of the facilities. Duly, on Oct. 17, the “Richard Lewis John” will be unveiled in his honor. “Closing in on 50 years in show business and a devoted Friar, I don’t feel it is too grandiose to ask for a room to be named after me,” Lewis, a member since 1985, told Page Six. “I’ve made a career humiliating myself, exploiting my darkest secrets from the bowels of my psyche. Thus, it only feels proper that the Club’s john be named in my honor.”
