Village creep show

A Bible-toting man terrorized a schoolgirl before being chased away by good Samaritans in Greenwich Village on Monday, police sources and witnesses said.

Witnesses saw the cigarette-smoking man in a green sweater follow closely behind the girl and repeatedly grab her while muttering to himself just before 7 a.m. near Green- wich and Sixth avenues.

They screamed at him to leave the girl alone and for someone to call the cops.

The man later ran off before cops caught up with him. He told officers he believed he was “possessed by God,” and he was taken to Bellevue Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, sources said.
