Remembering Arnold Palmer
We mourn the loss of a great champion in golf named Arnold Palmer (“King of Golf,” Sept. 26).
He was deservedly the cover story in The Post and earned the long feature story. Walter Faust Bronxville
I’m deeply saddened by the death of the legendary Arnold Palmer.
He and the Golden Bear, Jack Nicklaus, made golf popular.
Palmer was a class act and an astute businessman from Latrobe, Pa. God bless Arnold in heaven. Matt Engel Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
The golfing world has lost one of the great ones.
Palmer, who was a professional golfer for more than 60 years, has gone to that big golf course in the sky after living for 87 years.
His gentle demeanor and professional attitude were two very important characteristics that he possessed during his long and colorful career.
He will be missed very much by all who knew him, especially his family and the millions of fans who enjoyed watching him play.
May he rest in peace. John Amato Fresh Meadows
