Jets notes

- By BRIAN COSTELLO

The Jets keep getting hit with injuries at wide receiver.

Eric Decker missed practice on Wednesday after aggravating a shoulder injury against the Chiefs on Sunday. Decker originally injured the shoulder in Week 2 against the Bills. He did not practice much last week, but was able to play. He was limited to one catch against the Chiefs.

Coach Todd Bowles said Decker informed the team Tuesday that the shoulder had gotten worse. Bowles said Decker likely will have an MRI exam. Bowles said he’s “not sure yet” about Decker’s chances for play- ing Sunday against the Seahawks.

“Anybody that doesn’t practice I’m concerned about,” Bowles said. “He came back last week without practicing, so we just have to wait and see.”

The Jets have definitely lost rookie wide receiver and kick returner Jalin Marshall, who suffered a torn labrum in his shoulder. Bowles said Marshall will be out a few weeks. Torn labrums can be seasonending injuries if they require surgery.

Brandon Marshall still is dealing with knee and foot injuries, but said he feels fine.

At other positions, backup defensive lineman Lawrence Thomas also tore the labrum in his shoulder.

Cornerback Darrelle Revis injured his ankle in practice, but Bowles said it is not a concern. Revis had his right ankle taped in the locker room, but was not noticeably limping.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said he expects quarterback Russell Wilson to be able to play Sunday against the Jets. Wilson suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee last week. He also has been dealing with a sprained ankle.

Wilson practiced fully. Carroll said if Wilson can do it again Thursday, he will play.

TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins did not practice with the Jets. He was expected to arrive later Wednesday and could practice Thursday. The Jets claimed Seferian-Jenkins off waivers on Monday after the Buccaneers cut him following his second DUI arrest last week.

The Jets officially cut CB Dee Milliner. Milliner had been on the team’s injured reserve list since being waived with an injury designation at the end of training camp. He now becomes a free agent.

The team drafted Milliner with the No. 9 overall pick in 2013.
