Decker looking doubtful

- By Zach BraZiller

Eric Decker’s status remains in limbo. For the second straight day, the wide receiver didn’t practice. According to coach Todd Bowles, he has yet to undergo an MRI exam on his injured shoulder, though that could happen soon.

In the meantime, Decker is getting treatment, and it seems unlikely he will be active Sunday against the Seahawks.

“It’s a concern,” Bowles said. “Hopefully it’s not a [multi-week injury], but if it is, we’ve got guys ready to play. I’ll see where he is [on Friday] before I make a decision on how serious or not serious it is.”

Bowles said he is unsure why Decker has yet to have an MRI, but it is in the doctors’ hand.

If Decker can’t play, Quincy Enunwa would be the team’s No. 2 receiver and undrafted rookie wide receiver Robby Anderson would step in at No. 3.

The Jets have been preparing for the Seahawks as if quarterback Rus

sell Wilson will be the starter, and that appears to be a wise decision. The All-Pro, who suffered an MCL sprain in his left knee on Sunday against the 49ers, told Seattle reporters he has “no doubt” he will be under center Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Wilson has practiced the past two days.

Nearly three years after their spat on Twitter, it appears the relationship between Darrelle Revis and Seahawks counterpart Richard

Sherman remains icy. Revis repeatedly cut off a reporter attempting to ask about Sherman on Thursday, each time saying: “We’re not going there.”
