Over the past two weeks, Alabama has beaten the next two best teams in the SEC — Texas A&M and Tennessee — by a combined 82-24, and out-gained them 1,054 to 441. The dominance is flat-out ridiculous.

For the first time in a decade, the Wolverines are 7-0. Is it possible Jim Harbaugh is underrated?

3. Washington (7-0) (4)

Undefeated through seven games for the first time in 24 years, the Huskies just might be the biggest threat to Alabama repeating, by being the kind of physical and balanced team that could give the Crimson Tide problems.

4. Clemson (7-0) (4)

Clemson eradicated its Florida State demons last year, but there are still Tallahasse­e issues to be dealt with this week. The Tigers haven’t won at Florida State — the last lone serious threat to their second straight perfect regular season — since 2006.

5. Louisville (6-1) (6)

The Lamar Jackson show rolled on Saturday, four more touchdowns in a 54-13 blistering of N.C. State upping his season total to 34, a Louisville record.
