OFFENSE

The Jets did just enough offensively to win the game. They had just one turnover and put together a few nice drives. RB Matt Forte (30 rushes, 100 yards, 1 TD, 4 receptions, 54 yards, 1 TD) had his best game in weeks. The offensive line opened some nice holes in the running game, but gave up five sacks. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (9 of 14, 120 yards, 1 TD) played well in relief of Geno Smith (4 of 8, 95 yards, 1 TD. The key was neither guy threw an interception. B

DEFENSE

Jets fans may have forgotten what a takeaway looks like, but the Jets got two interceptions Sunday that helped turn the game around.

Buster Skrine and Marcus Gilchrist picked off Joe Flacco (25 of 44, 248 yards, 2 INTs) on back-to-back drives in the third quarter. The Ravens ran for just 6 yards in the game and had only 42 second-half yards. DE Sheldon Richardson (8 tackles, 1 sack, 3 tackles for loss) was an absolute beast. A-

SPECIAL TEAMS

Punter Lachlan Edwards had a rough day. He let a snap go through his hands in the first quarter that the Ravens recovered and returned for a touchdown. He also had a 17-yard punt and averaged just 39.5 yards on six punts. Punt returner Jalin Marshall let one punt go over his head that was downed on the Jets’ 2. The Ravens blocked a Nick

Folk field-goal attempt in the fourth quarter that would have put the Jets up 11. F

COACHING

Todd Bowles did a nice job keeping his team together. Things could have totally deteriorated after a fourgame losing streak, but the Jets bounced back nicely. On defense, they returned to the 3-4 with Muhammad

Wilkerson out, and it worked. Offensive coordinator Chan

Gailey stayed committed to the run, even though he had some maddening third-and-1 pass calls again. B
