A RATINGS ‘HIT’

Nielsen’s preliminary ratings for Game One of the World Series show that Fox pulled in 18.72 million viewers for the Indians’ 6-0 win over the Cubs, up from 2015’s Mets-Royals Series opener, which drew 14.9 million. The audience is the largest for a Series opener since 2009, when the Yankees fell to the Phillies.
