‘Crime-spray’ stylist nabbed

Authorities in New Jersey have captured a hairstylist who allegedly peppersprayed a client who was unhappy with her haircut.

Bloomfield police say Maryam Simpson advertised her services online and was working in the client’s apartment on Oct. 13 when the two women began arguing. Simpson allegedly pepper-sprayed the woman in the face and ran out. The client was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Bloomfield police arrested Simpson, 35, of Belleville, on Monday.
