Cruise’s Scientology suite

-

TOM Cruise is rumored to have plans to move into a deluxe penthouse owned by the Church of Scientology in its home base of Clearwater, Fla. The Underground Bunker blogger Tony Ortega reports that developer Moises Agami —a Scientologist, like the “Jack Reacher” star — has submitted plans for that pad that a church official admitted was for Cruise. The plans, submitted in September 2015, cover the top two floors of the church-owned SkyView building, and include a private entrance with a car elevator, plus a parking garage large enough for nine cars. The abode also features a private “air bridge,” recreation area, a pool and an entire room dedicated to a flight simulator, Ortega claims. The religion’s “worldwide spiritual headquarters” is on the same street (387 feet away) in Clearwater. Cruise has sold off several properties in the past few years, including a mansion in Beverly Hills, Calif., for $40 million, a Hollywood Hills estate, two New York pads, a $59 million home in Telluride, Colo., and a house in England. Scientology and Cruise reps didn’t respond.
