Trump pal to tell all

ROGER Stone (inset), the dark lord of political dirty trickery, could soon be in a legal battle with his friend Donald Trump.

Stone — who got his start working for Richard M. Nixon, whose face is tattooed on his back — plans to write a book about this year’s presidential campaign even though he signed a confidentiality agreement before his brief stint last year as a Trump adviser.

“My lawyers believe the nondisclosure agreement I signed is unenforceable,” Stone said. “And in any case, I’m not going to write a book trashing Trump.”

The book will trash the media for not going after Hillary Clinton with the same gusto they went after Nixon. “They brought him down,” Stone said. “But in Hillary’s case, they suppress or ignore her wrongdoings. It’s the exact opposite of the Nixon era.”

Stone has launched a syndicated radio show that he hopes will help Trump win the White House. “Stone Cold Truth” airs Saturdays on AM 970 in New York. The show is also running in Austin and Lubbock, Texas. “I’m banned by CNN and MSNBC for being politically incorrect, but I can reach more people this way,” Stone told me. While much of the mainstream media has already reported that Clinton has an insurmountable lead in the polls, Stone says, “Trump can definitely still win.” Speaking for many Americans, Stone said, “I can’t wait for this election to be over. I’m exhausted.”
