The Failures of ObamaCare

In 2009, intellectu­als at prestigiou­s universiti­es sat with the most intelligen­t politician­s of the Democratic Party and came up with ObamaCare (“More Health-Care Chaos Ahead,” Editorial, Oct. 26). Then President Obama went over it and pronounced it good.

Now that it’s failing and hemorrhagi­ng money and doctors, Hillary Clinton tells us that we just need some tweaking by some other people at elite universiti­es to make it work.

They concocted ObamaCare, and it failed — but we just need to trust that this time they’ll get it right.

Do they think we’re that stupid? They haven’t even apologized for lying about how we can keep our doctor, our plan, and how we’ll save thousands of dollars.

Well, I lost my plan, lost my doctor and I’m spending a lot more than before. I guess I should just vote them into office since they know what’s good for me. Paul Sheridan Hicksville In all of the reports on rising health-insurance premiums, one must keep in mind that the health-care law is making people pay for more expensive plans that cover things they’ll never use.

Under ObamaCare, offering basic, no-frills plans is illegal.

Gone are the days when we can decide how to spend our own money.
