REPORT CARD
OFFENSE
The Jets got nothing going all night. Both quarterbacks looked inept. The one drive they put together stalled at the 8. They went 3-for-11 on third down and managed 13 first downs.
Ryan Fitzpatrick (5-of-12, 81 yards, 1 INT, 30.2 rating) was dismal in what was likely his last appearance in a Jets uniform. Bryce Petty (11-of-25, 135 yards, 1 TD , 2 INT, 41.2 rating) fared a little better in a tough situation. The Jets managed just 36 yards rushing.
DEFENSE
Andrew Luck (22-of-28, 278 yards, 4 TDs, 147.6 rating) carved up a Jets defense that featured no pass rush and terrible pass coverage. Tight end Dwayne Allen scored three touchdowns on the Jets and was about as wide open as you can possibly be on the first one. Wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (nine catches, 146 yards) embarrassed the Jets secondary. Darrelle Revis had another bad game. Buster Skrine was terrible. The whole unit looked disinterested.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Nick Folk made his only field-goal try, so that was a positive. Punter Lachlan Edwards had a net of 34.8 yards per punt on his five punts. Kick returner Jeremy Ross took the opening kickoff out of the end zone to the 11. That decision kicked off a night of terrible play for the Jets.
COACHING
Todd Bowles is on the hot seat after this one. His team came out disinterested and looking like the players have quit on the season. Nothing worked offensively. Nothing worked defensively. Jets owner Woody Johnson has to be considering making major changes after the season.
