Madison Square Park just turned into Candy Land, thanks to a lifesize interactive gingerbread house replete with frosting roof, peppermint-stick posts and other “candy” trimmings. Through Dec. 18: weekends noon-8 p.m., weekdays 2-8 p.m.; free.

Feeling a little “bah, humbug”? The Reckless Theatre promises a twist on the holiday with its“A Reckless Christmas Carol,” in which one brave, foolhardy improv artist, fully unrehearsed, gets to play Scrooge. 4. A SCORSESE CELEBRATION
The Museum of the Moving Image in Queens pays tribute to the life and work of its native son, director Martin Scorsese. Props, behind-the-scenes photos, childhood mementos and more will augment screenings of restored versions of “The Aviator” and five other Scorsese films.
