OFFENSE

A losing performance. Eli

Manning (17-of-28, 193 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) was off his game all night. He turned the ball over three times and LT Ereck

Flowers is going to get him killed. Two costly drops by

Odell Beckham Jr. (4-94, 1 TD) and a routine slant turned into a 61-yard scoring strike. Holding penalty on RT Bobby Hart ruined the opening possession. Running game (33-93) still nowhere. Pathetic 2-of-14 on third down.

DEFENSE

A big-time winning performance. Janoris Jenkins owns Dez Bryant. He limited Bryant to one catch for 10 yards after blanketing him for one reception in the season opener. Jenkins also had a rare interception off Dak Prescott and Leon Hall, dusted off at safety, had another. Prescott harassed into 20 incomplete passes. Ezekiel Elliott (24-107) gained 86 yards in the first half and was stopped cold (9-21) in the second. Rookie Romeo Okwara and LB Devon Kennard did great jobs filling in for Jason Pierre-Paul.

SPECIAL TEAMS

Dwayne Harris was huge. He downed a Brad Wing punts on the Dallas 3- and 2-yard lines. Beckham muffed a thirdquarter punt but was able to recover the loose ball. A block in the back penalty on B.J.

Goodson nullified a nice punt return by Beckham. Robbie

Gould hit his only field-goal attempt, from 39 yards. Coverage units were excellent.

COACHING

Well, give defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo the highest grade possible for coming up with an aggressive scheme to thwart the Cowboys, who were 1-of-15 on third down. Give Ben McAdoo a nice grade as the head coach for getting his team ready to play. Give McAdoo the play-caller and offensive guru a failing grade for another inept display and for playing scared down the stretch.
