Rot in prison, con man. Troy Stratos, the serial con artist who sweet talked the ex-wife of Eddie Murphy out of $10 million — and then fleeced $11.25 million from an investor group — was sentenced on Monday to 21 2/3 years in prison.

The harsh sentence handed down by a federal judge in a Sacramento, Calif., courtroom was roughly triple what the fraudster’s legal team had sought.

While the 50-year-old Stratos stands to lose his freedom until he is 70, he apparently didn’t lose his nerve.

In a pre-sentence motion, he asked the judge for a prison stretch that would allow him to reenter “the working world” as soon as possible.

Federal prosecutors scoffed at the request.

“Indeed, nothing can cause this court greater concern than Stratos’ final request that he be permitted to ‘return to the working world’ as soon as possible,” they wrote in a court filing.

Prosecutors had wanted to lock Stratos up until 2046 — at the earliest.

Stratos pleaded guilty to swiping $10 million of the $15 million that Murphy got from Eddie Murphy in their 2005 divorce. Stratos told Nicole, a childhood pal, that he had Middle East connections and could invest the cash in oil.

Instead, Stratos slipped the cash into his own accounts and spent it on a lavish lifestyle.

The con man then swindled a Phila- delphia group out of millions by promising them access to pre-IPO Facebook shares. Stratos, under the name of “Ken Davis,” told the group he was acting as the agent for Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim, who was looking to sell some of his Facebook holdings.

The group never received the shares — but Stratos “liked” the cash.

A report prepared for Monday’s hearing put Stratos’ tally of fraudulent gains over two decades in excess of $43 million.
