Giants players find McAdoo antics hair-larious

Ben McAdoo’s sense of humor went over well with his players.

The Giants’ coach showed up to Wednesday morning’s team meetings with a T-shirt that read: “Benny With The Good Hair,” and had a picture of his face on it with good hair. As first reported by The Post, it was in reference to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a Cowboys fan, making fun of McAdoo’s haircut while filling on the WFAN morning show.

“I thought it was great,” long snapper Zak DeOssie told The Post on Thursday. “Just had a big win against Dallas and we’re trying to keep this playoff push going, and here he comes in talking about Chris Christie busting his chops.

“What I took away from it is, you can’t believe everything you read in the papers and you can’t take life too seriously. You only focus on the things that have a direct effect on the things we want to do.”

McAdoo explained the Christie story to players who were unaware the governor had mocked the coach’s appearance. On Wednesday, McAdoo declined to address the Christie crack.

Despite his weekly struggles, left tackle Ereck

Flowers’ j ob doesn’t appear to be in jeopardy. Offensive coordinator Mike

Sullivan dismissed the idea of moving Flowers to the right side or benching him.

“He’s our left tackle, and our players are our players,” Sullivan said. “We have to continue to work hard. There’s no magic potion. There’s no easy answer in terms of try- ing to do the things that we can from a technique standpoint, from a fundamental standpoint, and schematically, trying to get him and all of our players to be successful.”

Flowers has been called for 12 penalties this year (one was declined), which is tied for fourth- most in the NFL, according to NFLPenalties.com. Out of 78 offensive tackles graded by Pro football Focus, Flowers is ranked 57th this season, and 64th in pass protection.

The Giants could be without linebacker Keen

an Robinson (shoulder), who didn’t practice for the second straight day. He battled shoulder issues last year with the Redskins. If Robinson can’t play, veteran Kelvin Sheppard and rookie B.J. Goodson likely would see time in his place.
