Your guide to Christmas viewing

ON Christmas Day, after all the gifts are opened, keep the gathering going with one of these festive TV programs (plus a few non-seasonal options for those who have had their fill of holiday cheer). All of these shows air on Sunday — perfect for taking a breather in between indulgence­s of hearty Christmas meals.

“MAGICAL CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIO­N” 10 a.m., ABC

“Dancing With the Stars” siblings Derek and Julianne Hough host the 33rd annual parade telecast from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, which includes performanc­es by Kelly Clarkson, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, OneRepubli­c and the Christmas Queen herself, Mariah Carey.

“A CHRISTMAS STORY” Through 8 p.m., TNT and TBS

The annual 24-hour movie marathon tradition celebrates its 20th year.

“TANKED: MERRY FISHMAS” 8 p.m. on Animal Planet

Titled “Tanks of Christmas Past,” this three-hour special looks back at Wayde and Brett building some festive tanks — including a snow globe tank — the ATM holiday party and a holiday “tank-off ” between the two, judged by Jeff Tremaine.

“WHEN CALLS THE HEART CHRISTMAS” 8 p.m., Hallmark

The frontier drama, which returns for Season 4 in February, gets a holiday movie special following the residents of Hope Valley as they bring Christmas cheer to nearby settlers. Lori Loughlin co-stars.

“DOCTOR WHO: THE RETURN OF DOCTOR MYSTERIO” 9 p.m., BBC America

In this year’s Christmas special, the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and Nardole (Matt Lucas) head to New York City and join forces with a masked superhero, an investigat­ive reporter and a mystery figure called

“GREAT PERFORMANC­ES: THE HOLLOW CROWN”

The three-part “Wars of the Roses” film series concludes with Benedict Cumberbatc­h as Shakespear­e’s most notorious king in “Richard III,” which co-stars Judi Dench as Cecily, Duchess of York.

“HOLIDAY BAKING CHAMPIONSH­IP” 9 p.m. on Food Network

It’s adults vs. kids in the series’ Christmas Day special where three “Holiday Baking” champions and three fan favorites from “Kids Baking Championsh­ip” compete to impress judges Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller and Lorraine Pascale and win the $10,000 prize.

“THE MICK” Fox Now, Hulu, YouTube and On Demand

The new Kaitlin Olson (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelph­ia”) comedy doesn’t officially premiere until New Year’s Day, but you can get an early peek at the first episode for 24 hours only. Olson stars as Mickey, an unapologet­ic degenerate who gets stuck raising her spoiled niece and nephews in Greenwich, Ct., when her sister gets arrested by the FBI.
