Dramatic nanny-cam video shows the incredible moment a toddler rescued his trapped twin brother after their bedroom dresser fell on top of him.

The video captures 2¹/2-yearold Brock and Bowdy Shoff, of Orem, Utah, in their matching PJs and booties climbing on the dresser with the empty drawers open Friday morning before the weight of the youngsters causes the piece to topple over — right onto Brock.

The short clip, posted to YouTube and Facebook by the boys’ mom, Kayli Shoff, shows Bowdy looking around the bedroom and inspecting the fallen dresser as his brother squirms in distress under it.

Brock remains trapped for nearly two minutes as Bowdy tries to figure out how to get him out of the potentially lifethreatening jam.

The little boy first attempts to lift the dresser off of Brock, but he can’t budge it.

Bowdy then miraculously uses his toddler strength to push the dresser off of his brother just enough so that Brock can slip out from underneath to safety.

Brock, who may have been spared serious injury by the fact the open drawer gave him a little space rather than crushing him, then breaks into a full cry.

The tots’ dad, Ricky Shoff, put the clip on his own Facebook page Sunday, saying, “I’ve been a little hesitant to post this. But I feel it’s not only to bring awareness, but it is also incredible.”

Kayli told NBC that she and her husband had no idea about the dangerous situation their boys were in.

“I usually hear everything,” she said. “We didn’t hear a cry. We didn’t hear a big thud.”

Kayli said the whole ordeal was a wake-up call and prompted the parents to immediately anchor the dresser to the wall.

They hope to raise awareness with the incredible story so that other parents do the same.

“Everybody needs to bolt down their dressers to the wall. We just didn’t think about it,” she told NBC.

The dad told CNN, “A lot of parents have probably made the same mistake that we made: [they] don’t have their furniture secure or bolted to a wall.”

He added, “Our house is very childproof, we are really cautious about all this stuff — so it never really crossed our minds that something like this could happen.”
