What happens in Miami Beach stays in Miami Beach.

After a report surfaced that drugs were being offered on the boat Giants wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr., Victor Cruz, Sterling Shepard and Roger Lewis were on during their controversial off-day jaunt to Miami on Monday, the players and head coach Ben McAdoo kept up the party line of insisting the trip wouldn’t serve as a distraction.

“Right now I’m really more focused on the Packers and the Giants,” Beckham said. “Any of those questions, whenever you all want to sit down and have a little sideto-side, we can do that after the playoffs.”

According to a report from terezowens.com, drugs — including marijuana — were handed out “like candy” on the boat and video apparently showed a woman offering Adderall, which is banned by the NFL. On one video, a man’s voice can be heard saying“I can’t take Ad derall ,” and then mentioning football. Te rez owens. com reported that man is Shepard Like I said, we’re focused on the Packers and the Giants, so anything else doesn’t really bother me,” Beckham said.

Cruz was similarly tightlipped.

Asked about the reaction from outside the organization, Cruz said :“Not surprised. Let’s move along. We’re already a couple of days removed from that. Green Bay is the focus [now].”

McAdoo also made it clear he had put the situation in the past.

“The pl ayers were off,” McAdoo said of the decision to go to Miami after the Giants beat the Redskins in Washington on Sunday and were off Monday. “I’m not going to talk about players and their off time.”

The first-year head coach added he was “not aware” of the ensuing controversy and insisted they suffered no ill effects from the trip.

“They showed up [Tuesday] ready to work,” McAdoo said of the receivers. “Had a good practice [Wednesday].’’
