Garner cop isn’t sweating

The lawyer for NYPD cop Daniel Pantaleo predicted Thursday that his client won’t get indicted in the chokehold death of Eric Garner before Presidentelect Donald Trump is sworn into office.

“Nothing’s going to happen by Friday,” defense lawyer Stuart London said.

London also said Pantaleo hadn’t been subpoenaed to testify or even notified he’s the target of a grand jury probe.

“Nor have I received any notification from the Department of Justice at all,” London added.

Sources have told The Post that federal prosecutors from the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division in Washington, DC, offered testimony from several cops to a grand jury in Brooklyn this week and would seek an indictment before Trump’s inauguration at noon Friday.

The feds from “Main Justice” took control of the case after a clash with local prosecutors and FBI agents who didn’t think Pantaleo should be slapped with civil-rights charges over his caught-on-camera takedown of Garner on Staten Island on July 17, 2014.
