‘Night’ vision

M. Night Shyamalan (above) wrote, produced and directed the new horror film “Split” as a response of sorts to TV’s “Scandal.” “I am in a house full of girls, and when I want to watch the game, all they want to watch is ‘Scandal,’ ” he told Page Six. “I take the fact that [‘Scandal’ creator] Shonda Rimes is on every television in my house, and I take that frustration and I write dark stories.” But, “Even though the film is scary, it is funny and surprisingly emotional.” [See “Split” review on Page 44.]
