MLB: Casilla signs across the Bay

Relief pitcher Santiago Casilla is crossing the bay again, rejoining the Athletics with a two-year contract Friday after seven seasons with the Giants. The right-hander lost his job as closer last season for the Giants, going 2-5 with a 3.57 ERA and 31 saves after posting a 4-2 mark record with a 2.79 ERA and a career-best 38 saves in 2015.

Right-hander Trevor Cahill and the Padres finalized a $1.75 million, one-year contract. He went 4-4 with a 2.74 ERA in 50 games, including one start, for the Cubs in 2016.

NBA: KD,Warriors blast Rockets
