THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SEXY

New York's finest, model cop Samantha Sepulveda, is taking off

- By CHRISTIAN GOLLAYAN

IT’S a crime to look this good.

Since The Post revealed Long Island police officer Samantha Sepulveda’s side job as a swimsuit and lingerie model last Sunday, the 32-year-old beauty has shot to stardom. She has gained more than 90,000 followers on her @sammysep Instagram page (bumping the count past 200K), been offered modeling gigs, and appeared on numerous television and radio shows.

Now she’s back to show just how great she looks in blue.

“The support has been incredible!” Sepulveda told The Post of all the new attention. She’s even been recognized while patrolling her beat in Freeport, LI — in her cop uniform.

“I was at a hospital and a patient said, ‘Hey! You! You’re that hot model police officer!’ ” she said. “I didn’t know what to do! So I blushed and just walked the other way . . . I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to [the fame].”

To her colleagues in the force, though, she’s still the same Sam.

“It was business as

usual when I came into the office. Everyone treated me the same way,” she said. “I respect them for that.” And though she’s received plenty of offers for modeling jobs this week, Sepulveda, who became a cop in 2010, has absolutely no plans to leave the force. “When people call the cops, it’s because they don’t have anyone else to turn to,” she said. “[Being an officer has] given me an opportunity to give back to people who really need help.” In fact, she hopes her sudden stardom can provide a platform for giving back more to the community — and beyond. She’s currently using her MBA in finance from Hofstra University to develop sustainable energy plants in Thailand. At the photo shoot, the Dominican-born brunette showed off her curves — honed by weekly intervalrunning sprints — in a strappy, bondage-inspired lingerie set. But although she has two drawers full of La Perla and Victoria’s Secret bras, thongs and negligees, Sepulveda said she hardly uses them. “I like to just sleep in an oversize T-shirt and be comfortable,” she said. “Lingerie is for men!” The 5-foot-2 officer is happily single, but she’s willing to surrender her bachelorette status for the right guy — one who appreciates her beauty and brains. “I’ve had exes who asked me why I need to show my boobs all the time,” Sepulveda said. “But I’m not stupid. If people want to look at my boobs that’s fine — but my Instagram has also given me a great platform to help people.”
