Fantasy football enters hibernatio­n

S OME people like chicken better than steak. Some might say “Naked Gun” is better than “Airplane.” There are those who think Adam Sandler is funny. And other believe fantasy baseball is superior to fantasy football. The Madman says: These people are wrong.

Thus, now that fantasy football has said its goodbye — lingering into its anticlimat­ic sendoff in playoff leagues, of which there are few compared to the regular season, and the distorted DFS version that bundles the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl together — those of us who are monogamous to fantasy football enter the dreaded season of misery.
