BECKS IS NOT ‘SIR’RY

Rage at knight snub

- By NATALIE O’NEILL

British soccer superstar David Beckham’s squeaky-clean reputation took an off-the-field beating when hackers leaked e-mails exposing a tantrum he threw when he was passed over for a knighthood, according to reports.

Russian cyber criminals first tried to blackmail Beckham for $1.25 million and threatened to release nasty e-mails — in which he allegedly flew into a curse-filled rant about the royal committee that failed to name him “Sir” in 2013, according to The Sun, which quoted this message:

“They r a bunch of c---s. I expected nothing less. Who decides on the honors?? It’s a disgrace to be honest, and if I was American, I would have got something like this 10 years ago.”

Beckham reportedly shunned lower awards, raging, “Unless it’s a knighthood f--k off.”

After he was overlooked for the prestigious title, the 41-year-old Beckham — whose net worth is estimated at about $349 million — also allegedly griped about being asked to match the highest bidder at an auction for the United Nations’ children’s char- ity, UNICEF, in New York City.

“I don’t want to do it and won’t do it with my own money,” he raged in an e-mail, according to The Mirror.

Beckham had spent a year and a half kissing up to Queen Elizabeth and wooing the Honours Committee via social media, according to the reports.

He allegedly used his Instagram account to help push his bid for knighthood, likening himself to Hollywood icon Audrey Hepburn and pledging support for the Scottish referendum to please her.

“His every public move was being orchestrated to appeal to the committee, but now the whole process has been exposed,” an insider told The Sun.

In another e-mail, Beckham ripped singer Katherine Jenkins after she was awarded the Order of the British Empire in 2014.

“Katherine Jenkins OBE for what? Singing at the rugby and going to see the troops plus taking coke,” he reportedly wrote.

The hackers published the e-mails on the site Football Leaks, “football” referring to soccer.

A rep for Beckham claimed the e-mails were hacked and doctored, according to The Sun.
