A-Rod & Anne Wojcicki split

FORMER Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez and his girlfriend, Silicon Valley CEO Anne Wojcicki, have broken up after dating for just under a year, sources exclusively confirm to Page Six.

Rodriguez — who is in Los Angeles this weekend and will be attending Oscar parties, including the Vanity Fair bash, solo — and Wojcicki, the ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, quietly separated a few months ago we’re told.

A source told us, “They were an unusual couple, from very different backgrounds, but they are both smart businesspeople, and had quite a few things in common, including a fascination with the tech world. But, perhaps in the end, they were a little too different.”

Recode’s Kara Swisher previously joked that Wojcicki could have dated someone relativity less well-known — like Vladimir Putin. “I’m all for long-distance, but that seems far,” she said.

But our source added, “Alex and Anne have remained friends and will see each other as they move in a few shared social circles.”

Rodriguez, who has previously been linked to the likes of Madonna, Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson, had been fascinated by the wealthy and wildly smart Wojcicki, we were told, when we first reported they were dating last year.

And he also managed to find one of the few single women actually richer than himself — Wojcicki is said to be worth billions after her divorce from Brin was finalized in 2015. Brin famously had a relationship with Google employee Amanda Rosenberg in early 2013, after he and Wojcicki had separated.

Brin and Wojcicki have also remained friends, and the Google guru even attended the Met Gala with her and Rodriguez last May.

Yale graduate Wojcicki co-founded 23andMe in 2006, after a decade in health-care investing, to give consumers personalized genetic information about their health and ancestry. The company also participates in genetic research into diseases including Parkinson’s and asthma. Wojcicki couldn’t be reached for comment.
