Ice-hole teens in selfie fail

-

When will they learn?! Two more kids plunged through the ice at The Pond in Central Park on Sunday night while trying to snap a selfie, officials said.

The boys, ages 15 and 13, were taking the shot while standing on the last vestiges of winter ice on the lake at around 7 p.m., according to police.

Unlike last month — when several teens taking a group selfie on The Pond were saved in a dramatic rescue — the two boys were able to swim ashore and walk away from the scene, multiple witnesses told the NYPD.

Authorities later caught up with them around the park’s West 60th Street exit near Sixth Avenue. They had no visible signs of injuries, but were taken to a hospital for observation, according to officials.

At least seven teenage boys were involved in the selfie incident last month. They had to be rescued by good Samaritans and f irefighters.
