Terror Attack in London: Looking For Any Lessons

The attack in London demonstrat­es that radical terror groups don’t even need to carry out attacks, and they don’t need guns (“Anguish,” March 23).

It looks to me that deranged people are doing their job for them. It’s simply bizarre. JoAnn Lee Frank Clearwater, Fla.

Another terrorist attack by an Islamist in a European capital should, by any sensible means, make the 9th Circuit Court’s ruling on President Trump’s travel ban seem like treason. But I said “sensible” and that word apparently isn’t in the liberal dictionary. Charlie Honadel Staten Island

Leftists love diversity above all. So one can presume the open-border crowd approves of all the new, diverse kinds of terror attacks. Tired of old-fashioned shootings and bombings, terrorists now use knives, trucks and cars.

It’s only a matter of time before the West starts seeing innocents beheaded, burned alive and thrown off tall buildings. Such a rich tapestry of diversity and none of it having anything to do with Islam. Pete McArdle Yorktown Heights

Notice that the despicable attack in England was immediatel­y called for what it was — a terror attack.

When it’s happened in the United States, at least under the Obama administra­tion, it would be called workplace violence, a one-off, the result of evil-doers, or because of a video, like the attack on the US embassy in Benghazi. Matthew Galcik Montauk
