2 cops turn out to be half-sisters ‘in law’

-

They’re sisters in blue. Two cops assigned to the same Bronx precinct got the surprise of their lives when they discovered they have the same father, WNBC/Channel 4 News reported.

Yadarquiris Molina’s first assignment after graduating Police Academy was the 42nd Precinct. There, she met Jasmine Molina, who had transferred from the 41st.

Molina is a common Spanish last name, so the two thought little about it.

Then, one day in 2014, they began reminiscing about their childhoods — and Yadarquiris (near left) mentioned her dad’s first name, Hector.

“When she told me his name, I stood speechless,’’ Jasmine (far left) told the station. Her father is also named Hector.

“She gave me that strange look like, ‘This girl’s crazy,’ ’’ Yadarquiris said. “I’m like, ‘I’m your sister!’ ’’

Yadaquiris remembered meeting Jasmine as a little girl — when Hector brought his family to visit. The officers later learned they have other half-siblings, another sister and two brothers.

They gathered at Hector’s bedside when he was dying.

“It was very emotional,’’ Jasmine told WNBC.

“When we each spoke in the room, his heart rate went up drastically. That’s how we know he knew all the kids were together.’’ Jasmine said she and Yadaquiris were “destined’’ to meet. “It was something that was going to happen . . . just a matter of time.’’
