Transit bandit bus-ted self
Jurors in the upcoming trial for New York’s notorious transit bandit will hear statements he made to cops during his most recent arrest, a Brooklyn judge ruled Tuesday.
“It’s not my bus, and I’m not supposed to have it,” transportation fanatic Darius McCollum admitted to Officer Daniel Jorgenson after he was caught allegedly driving a stolen Greyhound bus in Nov. 2015 in Downtown Brooklyn. “I’m not gonna say anything further.”
McCollum was first arrested in 1980 at age 15 for taking an E train for a joyride. He has been arrested 30 times for similar offenses.
