Trump’s pal faces grilling
Longtime Donald Trump adviser Roger Stone is scheduled to testify at a defamation trial in Manhattan Supreme Court this week.
Stone, who ran “Manhattan Madam” Kristin Davis’ failed 2010 gubernatorial campaign, told the Albany Times Union that he urged a group called People for a Safer New York to send a flier calling Libertarian candidate Warren Redlich a sexual “predator.”
Redlich is suing Stone and two other Trump backers, Carl Paladino and radio host Michael Caputo, for defamation. The trial starts Wednesday.
Redlich said: “I don’t think it’s really a question that calling someone a sex predator is defamatory.”
Attorneys for the defendants did not return calls for comment.
