Anne’s mum on big scene

- Cindy Adams

LAST Tuesday, Anne Hatha

way and Jason Sudeikis’ “Colossal” had its New York premiere. And Colossal is Hollywood creativity. The film’s about a monster. The night after’s film was about a cyberhuman. Moon/June/spoon? No time soon.

Colossal, however, was Hathaway recalling our first meeting. Summertime. Denver. 2008’s Democratic National Convention, where, with Spike Lee, Quentin Tarantino, Ellen Burstyn, Susan Sarandon, she joined the Creative Coalition and toured certain states in a “Get Out the Vote” bus. Now, two presidents later, big star, big movie, big husband, small baby and inside big-time vintage sideless, armless, neckless, backless, almost-tothe-crack Armani Prive, circa 2006. Most fabric — a bustle, pouf, train, a ruffle — was on her behind. And the night? Freezing. She’ll either get raves or pleurisy.

Anne: “We shot on these very streets, and it’s where I live mostly. New York’s my city. LA’s my working town. It’s a slower pace. But for a good pace, you must see the end of this movie’s great scene.”

So describe the scene.

“No, I can’t talk about it.”

But she did talk about the gown. “I had two fittings. When I go in tonight to see this film they have a crepe waiting for me at my seat. So I can have some food because this is really tight and I haven’t had anything to eat.” Sudeikis: “There’s intrigue in one scene when she conveys her newfound power and you see whether she may or may not be a monster.” So what’s the scene? “You have to see it.”

Open book

CARLY Simon’s second husband writer James Hart’s memoir “Lucky Jim” — about being homosexual — is upon us. It’s from Cleis Press, whose output puts out works on sexuality. And now doing a follow-up to her first memoir “Boys in the Trees,” Carly’s newie will deal with that. Neither one’s a valentine about the other.

Real-deal gem

TUESDAY, Sotheby’s Hong Kong, Africa’s newly unearthed Pink Star diamond — worth $60 mil, give or take a few — goes up for bid. Security’s tight. At its viewing, rumor is the 59.6-carat thing was actually a fake. Fortuna Auction’s Seth Holehouse claims the legit diamond’s only seen by vetted buyers at an armored secret location.

I already told you

NEW news about layoffs and changes at NY1? Sooo interesting that I reported it twice earlier. In 2016 and again a month ago . . . THEATER for the New City, on First Avenue, opens new play “Wink” the 13th. Author

Neil Koenigsberg left nothing out. It’s got trauma, homelessness, transgenderism, poverty, being down on your luck. Doesn’t seem like it’ll play the Winter Garden.

PLUCKING at pols brings up the one about the candidate requesting $10 million for his campaign. Told it won’t cost that much, the candidate replies: “I know. But if I lose I want to be able to live comfortably.”

Told only in the New York Sheraton lobby, kids, only in the lobby.
