Battle of the bumps

-

regal mix of street, bohemian and couture, and Amal is maintaining her ladylike, timeless look,” says fashion expert and TV personality George Kotsiopoulos. “They’re not letting pregnancy interfere with their fashion choices.”

This is the trend that spurred exNet-a-Porter execs Adriana Chryssicopoulos and Tatiana de Boisanger in 2014 to launch NineInTheMirror. com, a London-based online maternity boutique that carries nonmaternity designer wares organized by trimester. “We try every single piece on with a fake bump to make sure it works,” says de Boisanger.

While Nine does the legwork for civilians, celebs have powerhouse stylists. Beyoncé works with Marni Senofonte, who goes to the body with seductive silhouettes. She’s the mastermind behind Bey’s pregnancy “reveal” attire (the $130 Agent Provocateur “Lorna” burgundy bra sold out fast, but is available online in other colors), the “Lemonade” wardrobe and “Formation” World Tour costumes.

Amal often teams with Alexis Roche, the ultra-hip Frenchman who is John Galliano’s longtime partner and the former VIP style and image director at Christian Dior Couture.

“I’m sure tailors are adjusting things [for them] every time they go out,” says Charnin Morrison. “And they don’t go out in a look twice: It’s one and done.”

Amal, who’s expecting a boy and a girl with hubby George Clooney in June, scores points for her elegant allure and statement accessories. Even in her second trimester, the legal eagle still sports tailored ready-to-wear and hard-to-find vintage, like the 1959 Christian Dior black bouclette dress and jacket she wore to the United Nations last month. Another gorgeous outfit: the circa-’64 cream-andblack geometric dress and coordinating coat she wore in Paris in February. And she goes all out in couture: She paraded around in a ravishing strapless white Atelier Versace gown with a feathered train at the César Awards.

“Amal has a throwback, old Italian glamour,” says Chryssicopoulos. “Her pregnancy isn’t going to change that.”

Beyoncé, who hasn’t revealed her due date or the sex of her babies, is known for her swagger and explosive high-low combos like the $22,000 Gucci silk kimono she wore to February’s NBA All-Star game with a pair of shredded jeans by Left Hand LA, Gianvito Rossi stiletto sandals and a white tee. She looked so hot, she had to carry a $450 Gucci fan to lower the temperature.

“OMG, so cool,” Left Hand designer Julie Kucharski, who crafts one-ofa-kind garments, tells The Post. “The jeans were originally Topshop, and I distressed them for $200.”

The superstar keeps the momentum going in revealing gowns and jaw-dropping jewels. In February, she sat at the Grammys alongside husband Jay Z in a plunge-neck ruby sequin slither by Peter Dundas and a Lorraine Schwartz diamond lariat said to be worth $12 million.

And there you have it. Two contenders in peak condition with incredible reach. Who wins?

We can’t call it. They’re both knockouts.
