Gronk: Mind if I butt in, Spicey?

The White House was extra Patriot-ic on Wednesday when it welcomed the Super Bowl champs — with a surprise appearance by All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski at Sean Spicer’s press briefing.

Trump gushed about the Pats’ “complete team effort” in their comeback from 25 points down to beat Atlanta in overtime.

“They delivered iconic American sports moments that will last forever. We’re going to watch it over and over again,” Trump said.

He singled out several players, including Danny Amendola — but the wide receiver was among dozens of Pats who didn’t attend the ceremony.

“What a great play by Danny Amendola! Where’s Danny?” Trump said as he looked around.

Amendola later tweeted that he was at a friend’s funeral — but others, including running back LeGarrette Blount, defensive end Chris Long, defensive tackle Alan Branch and tight end Martellus Bennett, said they wouldn’t be there because of Trump’s politics.

In all, 34 players showed up, a team spokeswoman said, while the same number skipped out, according to a Providence Journal report.

Among them was superstar quarterback Tom Brady, who opted to spend time with his sick mom instead and notably did not earn a mention from Trump — usually a friend and supporter.

But the president offered high praise to pal coach Bill Belichick, especially for his support during the election campaign.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft even compared the team’s victory to Trump’s.

“Facing odds almost as long as we faced in the fourth quarter, he persevered to become the 45th president of the United States,” Kraft said.

Earlier in the day, goofball Gronkowski amused himself by crashing Press Secretary Spicer’s press briefing (pictured).

“You need some help?” Gronkowski asked.

“I think we got this. Thanks,” Spicer, a Patriots fan, joked back.
