Toy boy married his teacher

-

If Emmanuel Macron wins the French presidential election, the country’s new first lady will be a woman 25 years older than him — who taught him in high school.

Macron, 39, met wife Brigitte Trogneux, 64, while she was teaching literature at a private Jesuit school in Amiens. At 17, he promised he would marry her, and their relationship began in earnest when he was 18 — while Trogneux was still married, according to the Daily Mail.

Trogneux moved to Paris to be with him after divorcing her husband. The two married in 2007 and have no kids — although Macron is step-grandfather to Trogneux’s seven grandchildren.
