After all, the Marlins only lose about $50 million a year and will cost more than $1 billion.

Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is looking to put his son Tagg in the front office should he acquire the Marlins. Tagg is a former chief marketing director for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

And former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is working with his son Jeb Bush Jr. to buy the team along with co-investor Derek Jeter. The two Bushes were walking the halls together last week at the Milken Institute Conference.

The Post reported exclusively last week that Hostess chief Dean Metropoulos is also interested in the Marlins for his sons, Daren and Evan.

On Thursday night, CBS chief Les Moonves performed his now-legendary goosing of the TV upfront market. Moonves always sets expectations high and puts the fear of God into marketers by telling them ad rates are going up by high single-digit percentages.

Moonves admitted on last week’s CBS earnings call that he might sound a bit like President Trump, but noted the ad market was “exceedingly strong.”

As Moonves was speaking, YouTube, which is aiming to steal TV network ad dollars, was across town putting the finishes touches on its “Brandcast” party for advertisers.

Surprisingly, YouTube’s event was emceed by none other than the Tiffany network’s own late-night star James Corden, who yukked it up with YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, Katy Perry and comedian Kevin Hart at a spare-no-expense party.

Corden, of course, is a viral hit-maker. His “Carpool Karaoke” is must-see TV and his YouTube channel has 10.20.2 million follow-followers.

No word on whether Corden will also be hosting CBS’ annuall dog-and-pony show at Carnegie Hall onon MayMay 17.
