Homeless hero to the rescue

- Joe Tacopino

A homeless man became one of the heroes of the Manchester attack when he ran toward the site of the bombing as others ran away.

“We realized what had happened, we ran back,” Stephen Jones, 35, told CBS News. “It was a lot of children with blood all over.”

He said his decision was pure “instinct.”

“I’m human, they’re human,” he said. “I wouldn’t be able to live with myself for walking away.”
