Prez hails blood-drenched Duterte

President Trump called Philippine leader Rodrigo Duterte, whose drug crackdown has resulted in the deaths of many innocents, “amazing” and “a good man,” and said the strongman is doing an “excellent job.”

In a phone call last month, Trump congratulated Duterte on the bloody crackdown, according to a transcript obtained by The Intercept.

“I understand that,” Trump said. “And I think we had a previous president who did not understand that.”
