Body ID’d as student
The body of a missing college student was found floating in the Harlem River, authorities said Tuesday.
The remains of Jamie Morban, 22, were pulled out of the water near Highbridge Park at about 6:30 p.m. Monday after someone spotted it.
The Inwood resident’s fully clothed body was taken to the Peter Jay Sharp Boathouse off the northern tip of Manhattan, where an official declaration of death was made.
The body did not display any obvious signs of trauma, police sources said.
Morban, a student at City College, had been missing for about a week, police said.
The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
