Secret couple’s reunion

FOREIGNER’S Mick Jones and socialite Ann Dexter-Jones have revealed why they kept their rekindled courtship a secret. In the June issue of Avenue magazine, Dexter-Jones says the pair — who divorced in 2007 after 25 years of marriage, then remarried this year — kept their renewed romance “on the down-low” for three years. “I wanted to protect the kids [including producer Mark Ronson, designer Charlotte Ronson, DJ Samantha Ronson, and Annabelle and Alex Dexter-Jones], in case it didn’t happen,” Ann said. She explained how she told pals that she and her ex were just friends. “We wanted to make it about us, to get through the past. When getting back together, there are certain obstacles, memories, places, people who get in the way. The shoe fits already; maybe it just needs an insole.” The couple married at City Hall in March.
