Gsellman is making his first start since May 13, when a brutal start in Milwaukee (six runs on nine hits over four innings) led to him getting skipped in the rotation. He has struggled particularly against right-handed hitters, allowing a .360 average.

PADRES:

Cosart has yet to go longer than five innings in his four starts. He missed a month and in his May 18 return, gave up one run and struck out three over five innings against Milwaukee.
