Stitches loves a Parade

- Stitches@nypost.com

Our newfound fame has opened doors. Stitches was promised his own float at the Puerto Rican Day parade, but has decided not to attend. Ex-FALN leader Oscar Lopez Rivera will be honored so we’ve decided to join Police Commissioner O’Neill, the Yankees and the growing list of boycotters. Hoping we get another chance, but word leaked this week that El Chapo will be the grand marshal at next year’s Cinco de Mayo celebration.

If we made this kind of run at Atlantic City or Las Vegas, we would have been escorted out of the city by now. ... Looking at two games featuring last year’s World Series participants. Both have been quite ordinary this season. The Indians’ Trevor Bauer pulled down a win against the high-octane Astros last week. Struck out nine in 5 2/3 innings. Expect more of the same facing the Reds. 10 units on the Tribe, and 10 units on the Cubs as Kyle Hendricks has found his form. Brings a 1.82 ERA over his last five starts to the mound against the Giants.

Chose wisely again. Sided with the Astros and Lance McCullers allowed one hit over five innings before being lifted. Detroit made three errors and Houston tamed the Tigers 6-2. There’s 2,206 bacardis on our side of the table.
